Real traceability

Every bag traces back to registered farmers in the Grand Mbam (Mbam-et-Inoubou and Mbam-et-Kim) through the CassavaTrace platform; each delivery carries a batch traceability code.

Cooperative sourcing

Two partner cooperatives: COFPROMN (women's cooperative) and SOPROTRAG COOP CA, around 350 registered farmers.

Mechanised, hygienic processing

Mechanical peeling, grating, pressing and controlled frying: consistent granulation and moisture, not artisanal variability.

A formally registered SARL

Proper invoicing, supply agreements and reliable monthly scheduling.

Farmers first

  • 350 farmers registered through two partner cooperatives, including COFPROMN, a women's cooperative.
  • Permanent jobs at the Mbangassina plant, with a deliberate place for young people aged 18 to 35.
  • Free training and a pre-financing option for farmers.
  • Purchase price announced to farmers before each campaign and paid on weighed delivery.
  • Working conditions and a grievance mechanism recorded for every farm in CassavaTrace.
  • Free farmer consent before any data is collected, with the right to correct or withdraw it.

Planet

Today

  • Fighting deforestation: farmer awareness work on protecting forest land.
  • Production sited on savanna land rather than forest land.
  • Farm mapping: a GPS waypoint is recorded for every farm in CassavaTrace, making plot origin verifiable.
  • Peels and pressing residue go to livestock feed rather than being dumped.
  • Cassava sourced and traced within the Grand Mbam: short supply routes, known origin.
  • Fuel and energy use recorded for every production batch.

Our objectives

  • Reduce diesel dependence in grating and frying.
  • Improve management of pressing effluent and wash water.
  • Reduce energy consumed per tonne of garri produced.

Cash on delivery, bank transfer or mobile money. Credit terms can be discussed once a purchase history exists.
